Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 11, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Payment Processing Academy ("Payment Processing Academy," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit paymentprocessing.academy, request our Playbook, contact us, or otherwise use our Services. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you fill out our contact form, request the Playbook, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you submit, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and any message content.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, browser type and user agent, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, device identifiers, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to do this — including a per-browser identifier we store locally as ppa_eid to help measure marketing performance.

Marketing identifiers. If you arrive from a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) ad, we capture and store the click identifier (fbclid) so we can attribute the visit and measure advertising performance.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services and our content;
  • Respond to inquiries and deliver the Playbook or other materials;
  • Send you marketing communications by email and SMS where you have agreed to receive them;
  • Measure, analyze, and optimize the performance of our advertising on Meta and other platforms;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Email and SMS communications

When you submit a form indicating consent, you agree to receive email and SMS messages from Payment Processing Academy at the email and phone number you provided, including marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and you can opt out of email at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email.

5. Cookies, pixels, and tracking

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure ad performance and to enable interest-based advertising on Meta platforms. These tools share information about your interactions with our site — such as page views and form submissions — with Meta, along with identifiers like a hashed email or phone number where available, your IP address, and cookies set by Meta (_fbp and _fbc).

You can manage your tracking preferences at any time on our Privacy Settings page, including opting out of advertising and analytics tracking on this device.

6. How we share information

We share information with:

  • Service providers that operate the Services on our behalf, including hosting and database providers, email and SMS delivery providers, and analytics providers;
  • Advertising partners such as Meta, for measurement, attribution, and ad optimization;
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public;
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer need your information, we will delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your information, and the right to opt out of certain processing. You can:

  • Manage cookie and tracking preferences on the Privacy Settings page;
  • Reply STOP to any SMS message to stop text messages;
  • Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email;
  • Email Support@paymentprocessing.academy to request access to or deletion of your information.

We will respond to verifiable requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International users

We operate in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection rules than your country of residence.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
